VANESSA RUNS!
I’ve been tagged by SUAR in a fun Q&A game! (Kind of. She said she’d tag anyone who wanted to play, and I wanna play!)
In response I’m tagging Barefoot Angie Bee and Krista Cavender to participate and host their own Q&A!
Here’s how it works:
You ask me anything. About anything. No question is too weird or strange or stupid or personal (?). Post your questions in the comment section and on Tuesday I will answer them ALL. It’s that simple! And hopefully fun.
So….. whaddaya wanna know??

Hi Vanessa,
I’d like to know your favorite off-road paths for barefoot running within the GTA, if any… Oh, and where was the picture on the blog header taken?

So, what is your place like? Are you neat and tidy, clean fanatically or sloppy and only clean and tidy when necessary? Or nicely in the middle?
Oh, and do you use books as furniture? I imagine stacks of them that accidentally become coffee tables. Oh one more. Do you sit at the table to eat meals or on the sofa?

What was your first encounter with a Honey Badger?
How can I get my wife to eat right and exercise?
Do you ever go off your diet and pig out?
Do you drink green tea and is it really that good for you?
You’re almost 30 but look 20, how?
Why is curling a sport?
Why I’m I doing this instead of doing my homework?

Is there a race in the world which you definitely want to run one day? If yes, which one?

Are you faced with negative thoughts (I’m tired, I’m not in the mood to finish this run, why am I doing this again…) while training? If so, how do you overcome them?
What’s the breakdown of your mileage in terms of footwear vs foot-freedom?

I have a question for you: when you run on unmarked trails like the ones you search & find in your neighborhood, how do you ensure you’re safe?!
