I have never been an evening runner. Most of the time the weather (heat) prohibits it anyway.

My thoughts, most races are in the morning so you might as well train at that time. Good post - as always.

The purpose of the water is mostly to transport the lemon to your liver - because it's more fluid and because it's warm it gets there faster. Eating lemon alone still has health benefits, but it wouldn't be as effective as far as a liver cleanse.

OMG!!! Thank you so much for the info!!! i am going to start out trying the lemon in warm water. It is sort of ironic because of I see the human lover every day at work while I perform MRI on people. It is quite amazing how many of them have cirrhosis or some sort of tumor. i am very grateful for the advice and can't wait to start my "detox". I will keep you posted... Also, please thank Michael for the very valuable info he gave me! i plan on trying all those things he mentioned. i also am going to hit Whole Foods to check out the herbal energy boost products that you mentioned. Matt

Hmm, does the lemon need to be squeezed in water? Or maybe eating lemon (I don't know - some 1 or 2 slices?) can be done as well? Or that option would not be as good?
